The birth of the second child for Prince william and Kate middleton is imminent, and if there is one thing we are jealous of, it is the fact that this tiny baby fresh out of the womb wil be richer than all of us. The Duchess of Cambridge has finally gone into labour. And Oh Boy the unborn child is everyone's attention right now, will it be a boy or a girl?. Well Me I want a princess o. She has been admitted to St Mary's Hospital, London. The baby wil be delievered at St mary's Lindo Wing, same place she welcomed George into the world in July 2013. Am so excited and i wish her safe delivery.

South African Police Arrest Illegal Immigrants to Curb Xenophobic Violence
South African police and soldiers on Thursday arrested nearly 200 illegal immigrants.The criminal roundup came amid efforts by police to focus on immigrant neighbourhoods to prevent further xenophobic violence. News Agency of Nigeria said that the arrest started after no fewer than seven migrants from other African countries were killed in such violence earlier this month. The police spokesperson said “The migrants were arrested in the Thembelihle informal settlement, south of Johannesburg, which had been identified as a criminal hotspot,”. Police seized a firearm, drugs and pirated CDs. According to reports, South Africans accuse migrants of taking scarce jobs, leading to attack of citizens of several African countries including Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Somalia and other countries in Johannesburg and Durban earlier this month. South African police authorities have pledged to prevent such incidents, while the government announced the deployment of soldiers in parts of Johannesburg.
Fuel Scarcity: Marketers Yet to Receive Payment from FG
On Thursday, it was reported that the federal government promised to pay oil marketers #156 billion as arrears of all their subsidy claims. According to reports, Executive Secretary of Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association (DAPPMA) Odufemi Adewole said marketers are yet to receive any money from the government, and as a result, the strike would continue until the money is received. “The money government said it was paying to marketers has not yet hit our accounts. So, there is little we can do about the situation. The money the Minister of Finance promised to pay us last February did not get into our hands till about four or five weeks later. If all members are not getting the money today, it means we have to wait till Monday. But, the truth is that nobody is going to call off the strike till the money is paid,” he said. Noting that the the government is actual owing oil marketers a total of N256 billion, Adewole asked, “Who is going to pay that (remaining) N100 billion for subsidy?

I survived cancer - Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala
Nigeria’s minister of finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala disclosed yesterday during the service of songs for late Presidential aide, Oronto Douglas that she survived cancer 15 years ago affirming the scare is not the end of life. "Oronto and I had two similiarities in life, we both had cancer, I had my last surgery, 15 years ago and I shared my experience with him,"the Finance Minister said.
The ceremony was also attended by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim who represented President Goodluck Jonathan, former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, Pastor Tunde Bakare and former Bayelsa State Governor, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha among others.
Douglas, a senior adviser to President Jonathan, died on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from cancer-related complications.
Michael Igbinedion Asked to Pay N3m Fine for Stealing N25bn or Go To Jail
Former Edo state governor, Lucky Igbinedion younger brother, Michael Igbinedion was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment for charges bothering on money laundering yesterday, April 30, 2015. Michael and a former aide to Lucky, MrPatrick Eboigbodin were dragged before a Federal High Court in Benin City on an 81 count charge on Money laundering said to be carried out while Lucky Igbinedion was still governor of the state. Justice A.M Liman sentenced Michael Igbinedion to 6 years imprisonment with an option of fine of N1million for each of the three counts 79, 80 and 81, for which he was convicted. Mr Eboigbodin was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment without an option of fine. They used four companies, Gava Corporation Limited, Romrig Nigeria Limited, PML Securities Company Limited and PML Nigeria Limited to launder money.
