Ooni of Ife has gone to join his ancestors (Oba waja)

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade has finally passed on. I gathered he died in a London hospital last night after being flown out of the country 5 days ago in an unconscious state. He bacame the 50th traditional ruler of Ife in 1980. He was aged 85 years when he passed on. My sincere condolences are with the family right now. May his soul Rest in Peace.
