Seyi Shay just signed a record deal with Island Records, a major American record label that functions as a division of Universal Music Group.
The signing took place in London at the Universal Offices in South Kensington yesterday. She is now labelmates with the likes of Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Taio Cruz, Avicii, Bon Jovi, Jessie J, John Newman, Enrique Iglesias, Hozier, Nicki Minaj, Leona Lewis, Ariana Grande, and Calvin Harris.
